On March 23, 2016, Sun Coast Legal Director, Beryle McHenry, was honored as a recipient of the Association of Women Attorneys Premier Women in Law Award. Beryle McHenry joined Sun Coast Resources LLC in 2007 and has been director of the in-house legal department since 2012. Sun Coast is the largest woman-owned company in Texas. For the past 30 years, under the leadership of Kathy Lehne, Sun Coast has consistently provided opportunities for women and empowered their growth and development. At Sun Coast, Beryle has cultivated an atmosphere which includes and values the legal team as a full participant in strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Sun Coast, Beryle worked as a contracts administrator for Valero and a purchasing manager for a large California based vitamin manufacturer.

Beryle graduated from Slippery rock State College with honors, received her J.D. from the University of Houston and has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1987.
