Kathy Lehne, President and CEO of Sun Coast Resources, LLC, was presented with the Outstanding Business Leader in Energy award on October 26, 2017 at the second annual Women Who Mean Business awards gala hosted by the Houston Business Journal. This award honors women who have excelled in career achievement, contribution to company, city success, community involvement and leadership.

Kathy founded Sun Coast Resources, LLC in 1985 with just a couple thousand dollars and a dream. Since then, Sun Coast has grown year after year, with annual revenues averaging in excess of $1 billion in the last 5 years. Sun Coast has over 1,300 employees and operates around the clock every day of the year through 16 office/warehouse/bulk plant facilities strategically located near key demand centers in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
