Sun Coast is assisting with the nation’s emergency response in preparation for Hurricane Florence, which is expected to make landfall later this week. KHOU Channel 11 visited Sun Coast and spoke to Steve Boyd, Senior Managing Director, about the services Sun Coast provides as part of their emergency response and the more than 50 trucks Sun Coast will deploy to Virginia and the Carolina’s. Sun Coast has assisted affected communities during more than 40 named storms since 2004, most recently during hurricanes Harvey, Maria and Irma (including a 300-day mission in Puerto Rico).
