Sun Coast Resources, LLC Appoints Lori Vetters as President

We are excited to announce that Lori Vetters has joined Sun Coast Resources, LLC as the company’s new President. Kathy Lehne, founder and CEO will retain her title as CEO. Lori has spent the last 30 years growing businesses in the Texas market through organic growth and acquisitions. She has worked with companies to help them implement growth strategies and meet their strategic objectives.

Kyle Lehne, Chief Business Development Officer, added that the addition of Lori Vetters as President will give Kathy more time to focus on the future direction of the Company while Lori will focus more on day-to-day operations to help take Sun Coast to the next level.

Lori worked 20 years for JP Morgan Chase in the energy and corporate business units as a Managing Director and Regional President. As President of Wachovia Bank-Houston, she led the build-out of that franchise to $7 billion in assets in just 5 years.

Lori was raised in West Texas and is a 5th generation Texan. She was also involved in her family-owned oil and gas business which has been in operation for over 40 years. Lori attended Tulane University where she earned a geology degree and then graduated from SMU with an MBA. Lori is active in the Houston philanthropic community where she is on several Boards, including the Rice Business School, Teach for America, the HISD Foundation, and the Houston Community Foundation.

Kathy Lehne founded Sun Coast at the age of 23, with just a couple thousand dollars. Over the years, Sun Coast has grown into one of the largest and most diversified wholesale petroleum marketing companies and woman-owned businesses in America, with 18 offices in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. With revenues topping $1 billion, Sun Coast has a modern delivery fleet of over 800 units, delivering high-quality fuels, lubricants, additives, and a vast complement of related products and services to thousands of customers in nearly every sector of the US economy.
