Houston, TX (November 19, 2012) – Sun Coast Resources, LLC, wholesale marketer of quality petroleum fuels, lubricants, and related services to thousands of airline, construction, educational, energy, governmental, industrial, marine, retail, telecommunications, transportation, and utility operations across the United States, responded to the fuel needs following Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast.

Sun Coast Resources, LLC deployed its initial response team who are trained and experienced in storm response on October 27th.  This was Sun Coast’s 41st storm.  Over the course of the next week, Sun Coast had a total of 200 fuel trucks, tanks, pumps, totes, spill equipment, and related equipment responding to the vehicle and generator needs of its customers. Sun Coast’s emergency fuel response team included over 250 workers, drivers, service technicians, accountants, dispatchers, contract administrators, managers, safety personnel, travel specialists, marketing representatives, sales support, invoicing / billing, and supply specialist personnel in the Northeast. Sun Coast made deliveries across 15 states and delivered in excess of a million gallons of fuel to those in need, including government agencies, retail stores, hospitals, nursing homes, communication companies, and a variety of industrial concerns.
