Troy Goldman, integrity manager, Sun Coast Resources, LLC, has been recognized as a certified lubrication specialist (CLS) by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).

CLS certification is the lubrication industry’s standard for excellence, with more than 1,500 certified professionals. Sun Coast’s outside sales representative, Scott Fancher, and Timothy Jones, business development, also hold CLS certification.

A score of 70 percent or higher on a comprehensive exam that challenges all knowledge of lubricants is required to obtain CLS certification, which also requires three years of experience in the lube industry. Individuals must recertify after a further three years to maintain certification status.
