On August 2nd, 2014 Sun Coast was presented a prestigious safety award from the Great West Casualty Company, a liability insurance provider. The award, based on safety performance per million miles driven, honors the safest of Great West’s 600 carrier affiliates. Sun Coast was recognized for exceptional highway safety.

The National Safety Awards Program recognizes carriers with similar operations based on their year-end preventable accident results.
