Kathy Lehne recognized as Honoree at Inspire Women 18th Annual Awards Luncheon.

The Houston-area ministry, Inspire Women, has recognized the founder of Sun Coast Resources, LLC, Kathy Lehne (second from right in photo), as a distinguished honoree at its 18th Annual Awards Luncheon. Sun Coast is one of the largest wholesale petroleum marketers in the nation and the largest woman-owned business in Texas.

The Inspire Women 18th Annual Awards Luncheon was held on November 16, at the Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston. Funds raised at the event will benefit the training of women for missions and ministry to reach abused kids, trafficked women, at-risk youth, drug addicts, alcoholics and serve in hundreds of different ministries.

“I am truly honored to be recognized by Inspire Women, as I wholeheartedly support its mission to change the lives of all women in the greater Houston community,” says Kathy Lehne. “I started Sun Coast in 1985 with two employees and $2,000, and I watched Sun Coast blossom into one of the leading wholesale petroleum marketers in the nation. To know that my story could be an inspiration to other women is incredibly fulfilling.”

Inspire Women strives to empower women across all ethnicities, denominations and economic levels to change the world through inspiration that awakens potential, programs that sustain service, and scholarships and grants that invest in the potential for ministry and service.
