To all our family and friends: thank you for your friendship and continued support of Sun Coast Resources, Inc. May this holiday season bring love to your heart, health to your body and peace and joy throughout 2018.

HISTORY IN MOTION

In 1985, Kathy Lehne founded Sun Coast Resources, Inc. with the simple concept of purchasing premium petroleum products directly from world-class refiners and providing proven solutions from industry leaders. Her honesty, transparency and integrity have always driven innovation.

Sun Coast has an illustrious history of being driven by challenges. Ever perfecting and further refining our approach of providing value to our customers, we’ve grown into a major player in supplying high quality fuels, lubricants, chemicals, tanks, transport services and operational solutions to thousands of commercial and retail enterprises, plus government agencies.

In a constantly changing and dynamic market we’re proud to have grown to be the largest woman-owned business in Texas and one of the largest wholesale petroleum marketers in the nation.

Sun Coast is currently licensed in 39 states, with 17 offices and bulk plant facilities in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

What was once a modest wholesale and transport business has grown into a diversified, one-stop energy shop with hundreds of hazmat-certified drivers, and 700+ transportation vehicles in our modern delivery fleet.

Through the years, Sun Coast has received many awards including ranking in Inc. 5000’s Fastest-Growing Privately Held Companies and America’s Top Private Fleets. Particularly gratifying was the recognition by the Houston Business Journal and Houston Chronicle as one of the “Best Places to Work.” Our dedicated employees have always gone the extra mile creating solutions that contribute to Sun Coast’s history of ongoing success.

Headquartered in Houston, Sun Coast has developed the leading disaster response team in the nation, having responded to nearly every major hurricane and storm event over the past decade. Sun Coast has always been there when you need us most, 24/7/365 with fuels, lubricants, and trucks to keep America running no matter what.

Sun Coast fuels operations and growth by partnering with every major national fuel supplier, allowing access to a nationwide petroleum terminal network. Sun Coast has a rich history as a partner in optimizing performance across industry applications and driving our business to new horizons of excellence. Sun Coast will always remain driven by challenges, and after 30 years, we know how to take the wheel.
