Sun Coast Resources Ranks #1843 in the 2013 Inc Magazine’s 5000

Top 100 energy companies.

Trucking ahead 2,841 positions from its place in the lineup last year, Sun Coast is proud to announce its 2013 ranking of 1843 in Inc. Magazine’s 5000 Fastest-growing Privately Held Companies, with revenues of $1.9 billion in 2012. In other sub categories, Sun Coast ranked 36th in the Houston Metro Area and 55th in the Top 100 Energy Companies nationally.

“Over the past three years Sun Coast has experienced tremendous growth (up 208%),” said Kyle Lehne, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “I contribute our success to the dedication and hard work of our employees, and in providing high quality products, with reliable service, and going above and beyond to create solutions to help our customers achieve their goals. When our customers succeed, Sun Coast succeeds.”

There were two major services that contributed to Sun Coast’s explosive growth – namely, hauling and emergency response. The hauling industry has exploded as a result of the exploration of shale developments across the United States. Sun Coast has 18 offices strategically located throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. These locations serve a 38-state marketing area and are well positioned to support U.S. drilling activity.

Sun Coast is one of the largest emergency fuel service providers in the nation. Their team has been called on by numerous states, FEMA, the United States Army, hospitals and businesses to provide emergency fueling services to over 40 natural disasters. Sun Coast is proud of their track record in providing assistance to those in need during periods of peril.
