Sun Coast sends relief to Hurricane Dorian-impacted areas

Sun Coast Resources Hurricane Dorian fuel tank.

HOUSTON, September 5, 2019 – Hurricane Dorian is still on the move as it continues to push its way up the eastern coast of the United States. After devastating the Bahamas, it has made its way along the coast of Florida and Georgia and now up to the Carolinas. We will continue to see intense flooding, storm surge, and wind speeds produced in North and South Carolina, putting many in danger.  The forecast predicts this storm will continue to hug the coast of the Carolinas even closer as it moves towards Virginia. There has been a tropical storm watch issued for parts of southeast Massachusetts as well.

Dorian has been unpredictable as it fluctuates storm categories. After being named a category 3 once again this morning, it has now dropped back down to a category 2 hurricane.
